TBH it seems like he provided some helpful advice that wasnât directly related to gathering sales
Thatâs what they want you to think.
Donât care, dump his tire milk into the Boston harbor.
hello. can you develop self adhesive/shrinking tubeless rim tape? that is all, thank you.
Theyâre not allowed to respond to that until theyâve posted their bike in the noob thread.
I didnât understand any of that. There is sealant that works and tape that works and guy was using some tape that doesnât work as well and was gonna invent better tape even though it already exists. Puzzling!
yeah i read a lot of words and i got very little value from those words
Dude gets paid by the word?
Speaking of tape,
High temperature, lays into rim better than Stanâs or Tesa equivalent. Thinner than said tape, but thicker than Orange Seal which is prone to wrinkling and tearing. My new favorite tape.
I was re-doing two wheelsets. One I changed tires on another I wanted to check on liquid level.
Ended up putting tubes in both because tubeless sucks to setup sometimes I guess with my Joe blow
oh shit. just bought two 30mm vittoria tubulars from some place in germany, about $46 each.
gonna have to pull the fenders off the davidson to fit themâŚ
I think i fucked up the FMBâs that ferg gave me, and one started leaking yesterdayâŚi will stretch them on some spare rims and try to find some latex glue and glue the treadband back down. not sure it will work.
Iâd love some side-by-side comparisons of 28-30mm tubular vs tubeless on the same bike around the same time, from someone whoâs not being paid to say nice things about any of it.
The pros are starting to use tubeless, but thatâs probably coming from sponsors.
Kristoff used 25mm tubeless tires at PR. Flatted 3 times before switching to a tubular wheel.
25mm? PR?
REPORTING LIVE FROM 2003
lololololol
I was a dumdum and got some Compass tires. 35mm bon jon standard casing. problem is they ride real nice lol.
is there literally any difference in the tubes i put in though, thats the big question? im all out of 700c tubes so need to re-up (probably not the best idea to use 18-25mm inner tubes in them eh?)
38mm tubeless options in 650b for all road miles. Iâd like to save a few $ since I just blew my budget while traveling but donât want to chain myself to some turds I have to ride everyday until I can afford replacements.
Tubes make a difference. If you stretch a tiny tube real far just throw some sealant in there or it wonât last more than a day or so if youâre lucky IME
Schwalbe G-One Allround comes in 35mm, probably could be had pretty cheap on the www.
