How soon do you need them? https://www.bike24.com/1.php?content=8;product=143229;menu=1000,4,22,35;page=65

get some other stuff to make the 20euro shipping worth it

Damnit now I gotta go post in the dynamo thread now too.

Do I pour 2-3 more oz of sealant into my rear wheel’s switchback hill (the tire has probably drank 8-12 ounces in the past year) or finally replace it? It is leaking half of its air out overnight again. That is how it lets me know it is hungry.

Try dunking it in water.

If it floats, it’s a witch!

Haha no need. I know where it is leaking from. EVERYWHERE. 2-3 ounces every 6-8 weeks keeps it happy. Most thirsty tire I’ve ever had.

How is it not just a solid latex/walnut tire at this point

Put a tube in it

Why is that a problem?

Right so I typically stock up on schwalbe tubes when I order from bike24 so I guess I’ll do that…us prices too high

It would last about 20 miles before flatting with a tube in it. Tubes scare me.

I dunked it and found a little puncture pretty quickly. Gonna add sealant and place it with puncture facing down.

I’m sorry but as a tube dead ender, its funny hearing people constantly complain about their tubeless setups - constantly changing tires, missing rides, etc

I haven’t had a single flat in like 2 years using sealant in tubes riding light tires

I haven’t even taken my wheel out of the dropouts in that long. Sorry to hear you’re using sealant inside tubes. Cut out the middleman.

With this belt and these suspenders my pants go where I say they go!

Haven’t had a flat running tubeless since summer of 2016

At the rate I dither with tires there is no way I will be going tubeless. Happy to get a couple of punctures a year.

The thinner the tube the more supple or whatever the tire will feel. Latex stretches better than butyl and will be even nicer. Problem with Latex is that you’ll have to air up every other day or so.

I ran the Challenge 28/35 latex for a while, they were nice.

hm yeah but they expensive aye

Why spend a king’s ransom for marginal gains?

I dunked it and found a little puncture pretty quickly.

Wouldn’t that be easier if you took your wheel out of the dropouts?

In all seriousness, it just sounds like so much effort goes into setting up and maintaining tubeless setups I bet a lot of folks would be well served by sealant in tubes for non-mtb riding

lol
