What in the hell is going on with the chain in that picture?
It’s half shifted.
I aint never seen a half shift like that.
Looks pinched between the FD and ring.
It looks like a Kilo and a Madison had a babby.
And that steel Allez kind of reminds me of those early 2000’s Columbus road bikes that Univega was putting out. I’m still kind of tempted to hunt of of those down.
I think it’s way better with a level top tube than a compact geometry. Compact looks really strange to me on tarck bikes, which is clearly what this is designed to be.
I loved my langster but I definitely hated the compact geometry when I was looking at it (riding it I never noticed).
my dad has one with 9 speed veloce. he might end up selling the frame. i’ll keep you posted.
Do want. ^

I hope they’re doing this right and it becomes a worthy successor to the late Bianchi Pista (now an expensive singlespeed road bike with track ends) - an inexpensive entry-level steel “true” track bike.[/quote]
They still make the track pista and as far as I can tell it’s the same as it’s always been, albeit a little more expensive but so is everything else. The threaded headset is a bad sign but it also doens’t seem to have the os tubing that makes the pista so nice.
I still think they should have called it an allez track rather than a langster steel whether or not it was meant to be a real track bike.
Y’all hating on quill stems because they flex more than thredless and they make swapping bars more difficult?
I think quill stems are purdy.
Hey guys, can I still get in on this group buy?
I want one and my friend wants one.

my 2005 pista (57cm) had a 74.5 degree ht and 75.5 degree st.
the 2009 in the same size has the same st angle, but now has a 72.5 degree ht
I think my bike is perfect. I put the extra two wheels on it for maximum adhesion through the corners.

i guess that’s what’s going on
i’m glad my track bike is threadless so i can swap or flips stems to try to dial in my right fit
i’m glad my road bike is threaded because it’s fucking classy
also nice montel jordan sig

yeah turns out I was looking at the 2005 specs. That’s too bad at least the concept hasn’t changed yet.
The Concept is out of production. From what I’ve gathered all of the “Chick Designed” bikes are gone or changed in some way or another.
Someone correct me?
threaded so you can throw on yr njs deep drop stem no problem
and njs is so 2005-2006
