Specialized Langster in Steel
The Concept is out of production. From what I’ve gathered all of the “Chick Designed” bikes are gone or changed in some way or another.

Someone correct me?
The “Chick Designed” bikes were designed by Sky Yaeger, Bianchi USA VP of product management until 2007. I’m pretty sure she designed the Pista and the Concept. I’m also pretty certain that her successors fucked up the geometry on those bikes in more recent years. Sky is at Swobo now.

Here’s a cool interview:

Apparently, she rides a Pegoretti.

tarck.

The industry is always a year or two behind what the people in the know actually want. Two years ago EVERYTHING had to be NJS, so that meant that lots of people wanted the threaded look. Now we all know how much easier life is with threadless. Of course, the industry isn’t marketing toward us, they’re marketing toward the masses who are also generally a year or two behind. It’ll be a perfect fit.

It would look better if it was compact geo. The steel Allez that they made with round tubing and compact geo was one of the coolest bikes I’ve ever seen. It’s just something that you don’t see very much so it’s more interesting.
you mean like this guy?
exactly. It’s the hotness.

this looks like a fun bike.

Thaaaaaaaat’s right. I was pretty sure she went to Swobo but I’d hate to dole out misinformation.

Anyway Bianchi has definitely been sucking more and more since she left. They need to step up their game or…I dunno they’ll just keep getting worse.

oddly swobo has yet to put out anything besides overpriced shit.

You’re being a negative nancy today, eh?

(I mean come on most of their bikes kinda suck a lot though, at least I think so)

he’s just pissy about the banning. Now he has to unload on us all of the negativity that used to be spread out over two forums.

this is really, really awkward to read

Someone correct me?
the “replacement” for the concept for '09

the same frame europeans have been getting for a few years

.

I know a few people with them… honestly they are pretty crappy.

Eh, oh well. I haven’t ever known anyone who has owned/ridden one, but I can’t say I’m surprised.

How about those Columbus Marins?

i met a dude with one of 'em. i forget the groupset, and i don’t know how well it rides.

but the guy’s done centuries on it, so he must like it enough.

My coworker has been trying to sell his for $80 for the past four months. Let me know if you’re interested.

i think those univegas were an online deal like merciers, and motobecans are now.

Well, he definitely bought it in a shop, because he worked there at the time.
