I have a few old club rider customers that have been riding those for years. Never rode one myself which makes this post pretty damn pointless.
My coworker has been trying to sell his for $80 for the past four months. Let me know if you’re interested.
I have that sticker on my bike.
My 2005 Concept had that Sky Yaeger sticker, too. I hated that bike. Because I’m a male chauvinist.
this is really, really awkward to read
Does this read like a really bad cover letter to anyone else?
yes my dad rides one, pretty sure it’s the same frame as the univega’s, except uni sold with a carbon, threadless fork while marin was threaded steel, at least that’s how my dad’s is. the frames are identical though.
I really really like the feel of it, and I’m on a constant lookout for a late 90’s, early 2000’s thron frame for myself (and to match my pops of course)
fuck sky yaeger and fuck that sticker
i feel like this should be posted here
damn. i want it.
jeez they couldn’t bust out a lugged fork for this one??
edit
anyone know what the wheelset is?
We need some pics of the steel langster built up…these look like the same frames but with different forks.
aw man what is that nonsense?
theyre shipping bikes with cork grips?
guess theres nothing inherently wrong with that but it is odd to me for some reason.
semi-related-but-not-really: i feel lame telling people i ride a pista now. sometimes i’ll specify what it is exactly, but mostly i dont, so as to not come off as some kinda elitist.
Bianchi smells the antiquarian shift in the wind of tarck, it seems.
Perfect for a tweed ride.

Today I am wearing wool from head to toe.
I am close. I need nicer summer weight wool trousers. Any suggestions?
