nah they’ll fit in the back i think. The tektro specs for those brakes fit the BI description of necessary rear spacing, unless someone measured wrong.[/quote]
r556 up to 73mm, BI says 70mm is needed plus they offer the r556 with the frame.

actually they say
which leads me to believe that if 70mm were the minimum, they would just say ‘at least a 70mm reach rear brake,’ instead of saing ‘a 70mm-90mm reach brake.’
then on the ebay listing they say
sound like you need the extender to run 556s in the rear.
I’m not wading through pages of BF idiocy to find out what the BD guy specifically says tho.

this isn’t too shabby either. looks even better with some mud on it
The Phantom Cross Uno is a fucking anchor. I regret ever buying one.
I’ve basically ruled it out as an option at this point.
yea… it was heavy… especially for racing, but I still somehow beat people on 18lb geared bikes… oh well.
I can’t wait for my damn cannondale cross frame to show up next week
Bit late to this party but Bold is right. I own a Jury and even with running 27" wheels I still needed an extender on the back brake (made my own). Someone truly fucked up when they measured for the brake bridge on this frame. Course running it fixed solves the problem too. Other than that though it’s not bad for the money and as a SS rain bike for getting around the neighborhood it’s done the job.
put a mini v on the masi. gonna try to ride monday as a recovery ride for the crit on sunday.
