Stuntin' like my daddy: tarckstars need bikes too.

Dude. People do it.

Maybe if I had a machine shop, or was stupider, or both…

i have seen these disc kids bikes. that first one you posted has wet discs!! not sure my 36 pound kid needs a rotor the size of his face.

Hey, what’s a good price for a used Strider? $50?

yep

Buying or selling?
Hotwalk is a nice balance bike, and a lot of manufacturers have similar.
This Raleigh is a little more than $50 through corp discount:

But yeah that sounds right.

Got a beat to fuck one for $20, depends on how nice it is.

Also backing the Hotwalk.

Canyon just posted up their new kids line: https://www.pinkbike.com/news/canyon-launches-range-of-childrens-bikes-2017.html
16"

20"

24"

Wow. TAF.

But why a mullet 16"?

i’m guessing for better rollover? at first i thought you meant mullet brakes and was trying to figure out wtf you were on about.

“even a larger 18’’ front wheel on the Offspring AL 16 to aid momentum so the smallest riders can roll more smoothly over rough surfaces.”
Wagon wheels for all!!

balleur.

why radial spokes on the 16"?

They got their design advice from the kids on BFSSFG?

It’s so you get to carry 2 tubes for your kid’s bike, instead of one.

A 16" tube would be fine in an 18" wheel

also it’s not like your 35 pound shredder is gonna get a lot of flats with a normal thickness tire.

why not radial spokes?

radial on both sides of both wheels?

with hydraulic discs too?

I mean 2mm spokes are overbuilt for anything a 40lb kid can throw at em, but that doesn’t mean you have to fail trigonometry
