There are certain people for whom the regular rules of bicycles do not apply. Orc is one of those people.
Team pro works fine on a straight pole. B17’s are just sized for children
On the other hand…. Having the swoopy bars lets you get your weight nice and far back for descending. You can still weight the front wheel when you need to. Long stem and narrow bars is really similar a road position — tops of the drops with bar ends being the hoods. Both are just different flavors of underbiking!
Hydro groupset back on the menu for the touring bike!
wow it’s a dry break fitting sized for bike hydros; I mused about this months ago!
If memory serves, JP never used a Hite-Rite.
Yeah, that was all Breezer as I recall.
Don’t know where to put this but the most expensive bicycle tubes I’ve ever bought arrived. Tossing $70 in my repair kit because butyl tubes are so bulky and annoying
Not sure if they’ll be a HY or a WTF when I need to use them, but Tarck will definitely find out
What coaster brake?
I bought the $6 offbondage brand ones from Aliexpress. 50km on them and they haven’t assploded as yet.
Wish I knew. I was a bit distracted by the handlebar boner angle, so I didn’t look that closely
Just wondering, was there a reason that kept you from trying these until RH started selling them? Because these have been around a while now, both mainstream and off brand versions
Sure, I didn’t know they existed until he sent me the marketing email. I’ve sort of settled into a bicycle knowledge rhythm and don’t read about or research bike stuff anymore like I did when I was getting into them twenty years ago.
I’m right there with that. Don’t talk to me about bikes atmo.
If I need bike tech info I ask here and ignore most of it
Otherwise I just vibe and ride around a park in little circles
