I’d have to see how they’re treating other riders before I form an opinion. I’ve met a dude that could singlespeed UP a trail that I didn’t have the guts to ride down, and what I remember most was that he was just friendly and unpretentious.

someone who is good at the economy please help me budget this. my industry is dying
Not sure this changes my mind on this at all (still just seems like a dumb stunt to me), but here’s a thing.
Yeah. I’d be much more okay with it if it was just some regular Joes doing it not as a PR exercise.
A guy I know does an overnight rando ride every year on a different weird bike, just for shits and giggles. We’re talking k-mart BMX, vintage fixed path racer, 1950s basket bike, etc etc. The ride is hard enough on my roadie, but this guy likes the challenge. Not going for glory or publicity, just for fun.
this had me wondering if anyone has raced unbound on a fixed gear, and while looking around found this:
did the rodeo labs bros just get away with this because they’re from rodeo labs?
yeah they got away with it
it’s unlikely every bike gets a tech inspection
you can bet if something bad happened, the event would consider themselves not liable for anything like insurance wise
it’s an ass cover
on the watts field on their computer: yes, probably
pretty funny that walmart ashtabula coaster brake bikes are 650b now
The spirit of gravel indeed!
Some funky colours in here.

All custom and they can’t make a framebag that fits?

I joined a 26 to gravgrav conversion therapy group on FB. What was I thinking.
Are these 650b wheels on the pooflex ?
Either way they have to have those arrow bars to somehow keep their ass from sliding off that saddle.
The 353 was a weird kinda hybrid with 700c wheels. It came with a rack stock.
I don’t recall the Vector ever coming in a 29" sizeway, though.
Yeah I was into it until the saddle angle.
Thats the bike fitters saddle of choice eh? Good spotting on the 353 @yonderboy Id never heard of that model. Knew a couple of people who raced the 26ers and the forks always failed horribly
How did they fail? I’ve been kicking around the idea of getting a Girvin fork for my Haro Extreme but would love a great reason not to.
