fixed that for PNW
Is it for trike testing at a trike shop?
Trikes are the awfulest version of recumbent so I would expect that guy to be a pathetic degenerate
or to have back problems.
Why not both?
Of course he has back problems, he’s lying down on a strangely shaped object and kicking his feet in front of him all day
“Electric Cargo Bike”
Is that a cat box?
that’s kind of great.
#rackspotting Ok this thing was a trip. The ridiculous tiger/lava paintjb, looptail rearend, pinched and welded seatstays, cheapo fork, and scrapped from the bottom of the barrel components.
I can’t get over the fact that it costs as much as a brand new Honda Fit
I’m cool with rich folk now making my for dope egravgrav/currenttrendbike down the road cheaper.
Boomers on e-bikes are the industry’s sugar mamas and papas, if the bike paths around here are any indication.
It’s also a bubble that’s destined to burst and further screw up an already dysfunctional industry. Can’t wait.
I don’t get why these people don’t just go to the “sports medicine clinic” in their nearest strip mall. It’s cheaper to just get injected with stem cells from racehorses or some meth or whatever.
DQ how so?
There’s a popular theory that the US bike industry has basically been chasing boomer bucks for the last 40 years. Given that nobody’s figured out a tacky, overpriced cure for human mortality, it looks like they’re going to be shuffling off to the big sunbelt in the sky pretty soon.
addendum: this is why I’m interested in the current crop of cheap but cool-seeming road bikes. They might be a hedge against not being able to sell $11k vanity bikes to 63 year olds anymore.
this is the only reason that makes sense for the widespread ever-upwards price creep of top-end bikes, what other market segment can drop $12k on an electrified Roubaix in any quantity? there can’t be that many dentists out there
I don’t know anything serious about this, but I suspect that keeping a few very very expensive bikes in your lineup makes the cheaper bikes seem nicer by association and more reasonably priced. If a Dogma2xx Select Edition SL costs $15k and a Dogma with Ultegra costs $6k, the latter seems like a real bargain! And it has the same name and general shape as the really really expensive one!
Tc: can’t wait to pick up some cheap af garage neglected ebike parts
