tarck measures shit thread (tires, etc...)

I bought the cheap carbon Chinese rims and they showed up today. These are the wider 29er rims. I used some Stans Flows 29er rims for comparison. ERD 603

New bike day! Tires have ~50 miles of use.

IRC SERACECX 2.1 Tubeless measure 1.898 @40psi
Mavic x317 disc with an .924 exterior

Y U NO METRIC?

I mean it’s nice that you were precise to the thou, showing that you’re doin it for real

but c’mon use the measurements of those who measure shit

sorry was measuring 1/4" keyways for work and forgot (honestly didnt even think of it) to switch.

If it’s measures anything like a 45 nomad, it will be in the ballpark of 32 mm. And it may depend on the psi; on my project bike, the 45 nomad + A319 is 43mm wide at ~40psi, 42mm at 60psi.[/quote]

my 35 nomad on tb14s at ~50psi measures to 33mm on the button.

i was in your camp forever. Then i started using manual milling machines…

are you JP Weigle millin your tires? The fuck man? Context.

Sorry i’ll rephrase - all the people i know that actually measure shit ie. engineers, fabricators, machine shops, etc all use standard

fractions how do they work

50mm kenda karmas measure 51mm on 30mm rims.

up top, hi 5

Continental Grand Prix 4 Season 28c mounted on H+Son TB14 after ~500 miles.

Rear @ 85 psi - 27mm wide.

Front @ 55 psi - 26.5mm wide.

Really loving these tires at these pressures. Wish they were a mm wider, but I have heard reports of them growing to 29mm after more mileage. I should mention that they initially measured 1-1.5mm narrower when new.

Width of my 35mm Kojaks on a 19mm rim was 30, as opposed to 31.
The width of my grand boyz Cyprés 30mm on that same rim? 30.

Width of 28mm Clement Strada LGG (dual compound) on Open Pros: 26.5mm at 100 psi
This is straight out of the box with a driveway spin, will update after a few rides.

They replace 25mm Maxxis Detonators which were around 25.3mm on the same Open Pro.

38mm randonneur hypers on tb-14s measure 38mm according to my janky calipers.

T-rout reminded me…
32mm Randonneur Hypers on Mavic Open Sports at 75psi measure 32.7

pro3 race 25’s on H+ archetypes at 90psi measure about 27.3mm

edit: after a few days/rides these are now over 28mm. FGM.

Does anyone know where I can get the specs on shimano XT 6 bolt hubs?

Here?

Also, here, some good stuff under "specifications (at the bottom). Confirms “flange diameter” listed in above PDF is spoke hole PCD dimension for wheel building.
