Iâd love to see someone build a double rimmed wheel for a setup like that, inner 26in rim and outer 700c. Would possibly work with a 32h rim inner laced 16h and 32h outer rim laced 16h through the unused holes in the inner rimâŚ

You might have to lengthen the passthrough holes, but, hmm, Iâve got some spare 700c and 26" rims in my bike mess, and, of course, about a thousand used spokes & nipples.

if you lace radially then you might get away without any hole lengtheningâŚ
Probably not feasible for rear wheels if acrual riding is involved but this is sounding like an art bike project anyway.
