I’ve been claiming 5’11" for years based on a height measurement taken just before I went to grad school.
Last year I went for a checkup and the measured me…I grew an additional 1.5" since I was 21. I’m 6’1" now.
It’s very common for people to misunderestimate or misoverestimate their heights. Alas, my wife’s boobs are about stomach height.

Why would you throw out what you know to be true based on one person telling you otherwise? My old job did a biometric screening and everyone measured about two inches short of what they expected. Total shit show of people freaking out about the BMI that resulted. I couldn’t help but laugh at them as the results were recorded anonymously, but where was that going? I think I made point in there. Oh right, you’re probably both wrong at this point.
Yeah, during my annual checkups, my measured height has fluctuated from 5’4" to 5’7", somehow. Every time I measure, I end up with 5’5". Gonna stick with that.

I made them measure my height twice because I didn’t believe it. Could their height thing be borked? Yes. But until I hear otherwise I’m 6’1". It’s better than being a 5’11" midget.
You’ve posted some pics and judging your proportions compared to a quarter in the background Of one of those images, I’d say you’re more like 6’3" with the physique of Tom Brady. Go with it.
Quarters measure anywhere from 1/8" to 17" depending on how borked the measurer is so I’d be careful jumping to conclusions. I’d agree with the Tom Brady physique thing though based on my fantasies about Ferg driving me around in a Ferrari. Usually pretty borked by the time that fantasy rolls around though.
