Now we need FNG to post something other than a Cannondale so we can move on.
I don’t even know where to post shit
if you try and make a new thread and the forum thinks it exists it will tell you.
But what about the spring in the front derailleur?
Springs can be thought of as compression (push on it to make it shorter) or extension (pull on it to make it longer). FDs have torsion springs that are pushed on the make the coils tighter.
To upshift the pull of cable tension is coverted to a push by the lever arm. To downshift the spring pushes the mechanism back down.
Mods please change term derailleur to pusherman
new guy does have at least two very cool bikes that aren’t cannondales
NATURE ABHORS A PULLER
everything is just a push with different geometry.
Pretty sure they were talking about rapid rise pushers.
Pulsh
pull = -1 * push
pull * (1/push) = 1 /((i)^2)
WE’RE KILLING SHELDON
different geometry sign convention
Doesn’t this just mean that T and S are better at cutting production costs than you? Since higher costs don’t necessarily mean higher quality. What are some aspects to the CAAD13 that make it a better frame aside from the dropped stays?
the allez looks like a caad 10
Note that this makes the spring a “Push Battery”. It stores the push of the upshift to push the chain back down.
does it squish?
