this is honestly the thing that makes me go “hmmm” most about 'Dale adventure bikes.

I know in the US dynos are nerd shit but I sure have been grateful to have them a few times when I’ve gone on an overly-ambitious mixed-terrain ride and wound up riding country roads at night. Like yes: I could bring battery lights, but not having to remember to charge and bring them is a very nice thing imho.

dyno is life changing and should be on 99% of American bikes not just nerd bikes

Seems to be on 99% of japanese bikes !

Yesterday a guy walking three corgis asked me about my dynamo hub as I was unlocking. I got all evangelical about it. It’s seriously the best money you can spend on a bike.

Being able to just ride your bike whenever and not worry about illumination is A+++ :100:

Great another seattleite. Do you even own that bike anymore? And I know for a fact you have a proper garage door.

We can’t all move to Bend, Jimmy, think of all the poor Californians we’d be displacing.

Now that you mention it, I was able to decode this image with the ring inside my cereal box this morning:

Okay here’s a real photo for the fans. It’s got a bit of a door to my garage in it, even if it’s not technically a “garage door”:

Okay, Fred pointed out that is technically his bike (although even if he provided the sperm, I definitely provided the egg) so here’s a picture of a bike that is unarguably mine:
