I know I’m late on the vegan pizza thing, but Amy’s frozen vegan pizza is the best. That’s how a vegan pizza should be, not with some shitty cheese approximate made from pressed Brazil nuts or something

True story. Lived off of those things for a while.

Meh. They’re alright. They tasted too sweet after a while (~1 per week for a month). They can’t beat a pie from an actual shop that uses great crust, sauce and veggies. But those are hard to find because cheese coves up a lot of faults and places can cheap out.

When no decent pizza joint is within a half hour drive, it’s 11pm, and you got a bottle of Sriracha there’s nothing better.

Not gonna argue there.

daiya fake mozzarella is great; the trick is just forgetting what cheese is supposed to be like

anyone tried one of those no-knead overnight pan pizza recipes? v good atmo

Diaya faux mozz is like eating salty Elmer’s glue and you know it.

It’s really good if you’ve only ever read about cheese but never experienced it in any way.

The same way carob is good if you’ve only ever read about chocolate and never tasted it?

Carob is good. It’s just not chocolate.

Growing up, I had lots of friends whose parents thought it was a good substitute for chocolate.

Ruined it for me.

but%20why

Because it’s, um, brown, earthy tasting, and you find it in those co-op groceries that haven’t yet been shut down by the health department?
