Called in to pick up a dead ti brooks from a buddy and he showed me his new experiment. He’s a pretty experienced dabbler with carpet fiber due to his sailing background and builds some cool bike packing gear. This is his idea for a new aero bar. It’s built from a kind of balsa he said they use in surfboard construction. He is going to enlist the help of a buddy who is more advanced than he with CF for the next phase. Will basically cover it all in carpet fiber. The idea is that he will only need to undo a couple of bolts and the whole assembley will come off.

while that’s the appropriate setup for derp dorps afaik, I feel like you should replace the bars with a bus steering wheel for maximum lulz.
Tldr, bamboo handlebars are great. Just try not to ride off any curbs
