I never understood where you are supposed to put the levers on these. Just the flats or just the drops would negate the supposed benefits of having all those hand positions. So are you supposed to run both and use cable brakes with a splitter?

I’m pretty sure Tarck went through that thought experiment already and determined it wouldn’t work.

Something like Di2 or AXS for shifting with extra blip buttons and interrupt levers would work. But, why?

bespoke surly corner bar where they’ve changed the design in such a way that it’s impossible to use the brakes from any of the hand positions you’d want to be in under heavy braking

like the whole point of the ugly little forward extension on the corner bar isn’t to be a grip, it’s to give you a place to mount your MTB brake lever so that you can grab it while in the “hooks” of the “drops”
