the return of the bad handlebar thread

Pretty straightforward swap, assuming you have bluetooth brakes.

Also requires a second set of what is like the 3rd most expensive component of a bike after the frameset and wheels?

i must know more about this.

the idea is that you can adjust the bar width with spacers, and switch between bar sweeps, without having to completely dismantle the whole fucking bike

the levers come off with the brake hoses still routed internally through the stem and headtube and steerer

if only there was a way to avoid routing all the cables through the headtube, then it would be so easy to swap bars

“Look, you can swap your hooks out to get more aero! No, you still can’t buy a different stem length for your bike to get your fit right”

They ‘innovate’ one of those every 2-3 years.

Last one was the steering stabilizer in their mountain bikes that everyone removes. Before that was the bizarre double decker handlebars that made their head tubes shorter than a Crosscheck.

i saw a guy with the double deckers the other day!

they engineered it so that you can swap the stem lengths independently, but then never sell the spare parts at all

Prostate hurts

Who did this to me?

prostate pain

Is this fr? How would riding a bike stimulate the prostate? Is this them meaning other soft tissues in that area, or the actual prostate? I don’t think this man has ever had his prostate truly stimulated.

I guess if you had a super huge prostate that it could be “stimulated” by putting all of your weight on it with a super upright riding position but I’ll admit, it was a new one for me!

you can externally stimulate the prostate but if riding bikes effectively did so, a lot more prostate havers would ride bikes

I think that’s internal

It is, to the extent that if you are going in for a PSA test you are told not to ride a bike. But this is news to me, no whacking off/sexy-times either. Life used to be so simple.
