The FSA ACR is as close as we have gotten to a standard so far. A decent amount of brands have adopted it and it’s not the absolute worst way to go about hiding things.
I"m glad someone is getting out in front with it.
once I’m averaging 40kph door to door on my evening relaxation rides I’ll definitely buy one so I can start averaging 40.01kph instead. that will show my local foes, “Guy with really nice Look” and “possibly ironic moustache guy”
Found a tear in the sidewall of the rear Schwalbe so retaped the rear, moved the Racing Ralph from the front in the rear and a Nobby Nic on the front then rode it on the road to the trails and back. I plan to pull the tubes and squirt some soup in there.
Really makes me want to find a Niner Sir9 or similar newer steel 29er.
I stared at dyno light wiring for a few minutes then went back inside, I got nothing left in me for that fight
Swapped out the 42T ring on the dorkiest Riv for a 36T and stole the smaller chain guard off the Polyvalent to go with it.
Took the pusher shifter off the Polyvalent for use on the old Endpoint and it turns out the shifter I wanted to use in its place doesn’t fit so now the Polyvalent is an unintentional 1x.
Finished setting up the old Endpoint as a potential winter commuter, rode it up and down the block, and it might not be my dumbest bike idea ever.
Did some dirt jumping and ran over my front wheel when I left. Looks straight and spokes are good so I got lucky
I once backed my truck into a lamp post (like really really slowly because I was looking for my rear tires to make contact with a curb) with my mtb wheel and tire serving as the intermediary. Somehow nothing happened to it.
Took the large racing basket off the old day ruiner and put the regular 139 basket on it from the Polyvalent.
Poor Polyvalent is just getting parts picked off it lately.
Installed a Tubus uno rack on the old ruiner because the cable brake got in the way of making it a Duo. Embrace asymmetry.
Feel free to send that poor unloved Polyvalent my way, I’ll give it a nice warm and dry home
It’s an XL so you might need one of those techbro leg lengthening surgeries depending on your individual geometry.
not today but yesterday: greased a seatpost.
A courtesy reminder to everyone: grease your seatposts! it’s probably been too long!
I can just get that young virgin blood transfusion or whatever it is they’re doing now
Gonna swap out the stem when it shows up. Not happy about the headset gap but needs tightening. Also have room for in line adjusters
Swapped the VO curvy bars back onto the Polyvalent and got a pusher shifter back on it sorry @Shamp
Fuckin way she goes, Bubs
Tried to put a Haulin’ Colin porteur on the HG. I think the rack legs are supposed to hit the hourglass mounts? I can convince them to connect to the mid-blade points with some tension in the platform, but otherwise it’s a no go.
Huh, I used a HC rack on a V1 H/G fork for some time before my orc rack was ready. It hit the hourglasses perfectly. Does your fork not have em or is your rack weird?
