Installed the kickstand and panniers on the Boost. Getting the chain roller installed and adjusted was some fiddly ass work. Even though the roller is some kind of hard rubber, the chain is kind of noisy going over it when the bike was inside, but I couldnât really hear or feel it on the test ride. The kickstand motion is pretty stiff right now and needs to be moved into either position.
The new kickstand let me easily adjust the rear caliper and give the rotor a little truing.
Next is to figure out some rubber or plastic feet for it. Not sure what to do there yet because it has weird feet.

Revision 2 of my light mount. The Black Inc computer mount has two sets of holes for the puck and they go all the way through, so I mounted a spare puck on the bottom and used a KOM Cycling TG04 to mount the PDW Light Nug. I used some Presta valve stem nuts to space everything out.
This moves the light further away from everything and makes it into a little quick release job too. Unfortunately the light has to be removed to charge so the quick release functionality is not super helpful.

Slice some short sections of rubber hose lengthwise and glue them on.

Oh thatâs a good idea because the inner diameter wouldnât need to be too matchy like with a more rigid material.
reflective tape is still probably a safer bet

been having issues with a really spotty dynamo light on my clydesdale. flickering and turning off and on. iâm running a cheap panasonic hub on a 20" rim so i kind of expected it to fail at some point. recently found out that if i stand up and put all my weight on my bars it stays on.
swapped my wheel with my partnerâs dynamo wheel from their omnium, which solved the issue. resigned myself to having to buy a new hub. but then when i put the faulty wheel back on my bike, it just didnât work at all. my partner suggested replacing the connector with the SON style crimp connectors, and now my lights work fine. yay!

Fought with putting a Soma Lucas front rack on the Cannondale. Gave up and just used the Wald basket and itâs struts.
Fought with the shifting on the Cannondale, gave up and took it to the shop. Aligned the dangler hangler and it still wonât shift possibly due to a bent cage. Gave up.
I got the dyno light mounted though.
Now I need to decide if Iâm going to:

pull the SLX RD off the CX bike and put the 105 one back on there (cost $0 to me but means I go from a 36 back to a 32)

Remove the 10 speed stuff from the funny wee bike and use it (means I need to buy an 11 speed chain and cassette)

Just find another 9 speed Shimano dangler (means waiting)
Sounds like you should get a friction thumbie and just use any âole dangler.
