Took apart pavement bike to make room for new bike. Cranks/saddle/other bits are going to new bike the rest is in the parts hoard.
RIP for now S-Twerks.

Saw what might have been a crack on my rear rim so I decided to pull the spoke & nipple to check.
I honestly can’t tell if it’s a crack or a scratch from where I installed the spoke but this happened when I took the nipple out:
Replaced the two blue alloy accent nipples with silver brass. Wheel doesn’t click anymore when I flex it on the ground so maybe that was the cause of the creak?
Alloy nipples are stupid I’m never using them again.
I installed my golden bottom biscuit. Turns out the old one was notchy af. In the process I discovered that my tire was about to give up the ghost so I installed a new one.
What tyre did you go with? Not many options in rear bullitway.
The GREEN Marathon. 26x1.5 with a tube full of MuckOff tube sealant.
The tire that failed was a Spesh Nimbus 2 Sport. It’s a real good tire. Third one I’ve had on there, I got the Marathon on super sale making it almost as cheap as the Nimbus.
Got new skeleton partly built up. It’s a long shot but hopefully local bike shop will have a square taper bb w >113 spindle AND shimano olive/barb/hose bolt so I can finish this weekend
HY can’t wait to see how it all comes out
I like your g-spot rims. were they hard to find?
Those rims are a myth!
Kinda hard to find but very satisfying when I did
I installed these extremely cheap pedals and now my bike isn’t clicking anymore. I can’t believe that those Look x Vibram pedals retail for like 86 bucks.
I’ve got like 1.5 hours into a fucken re-tape cushcore tubeless used tire dented rim nightmare and I just want to throw it away and buy new everything.
