…but damn they feel pretty good.

those are counterfeit?

I strongly suspect they may be, due to the channel purchased through and the price.

These are the Love lever. These replaced cheap Avids. Shape seems… good? Canti lever looks bad to me.

Love levers are alright atmo. A friend has a few on his bikes and I like the way they feel, no sharp edges or uncomfortable surfaces.

so much better than the IRD cafams
they’re like a cheap copy of the paul levers that still aren’t that cheap and feel 1000x shittier. sharp edges and full of play

oh shit are they two totally different designs? i was too busy being a shit to notice.

Pubes needs some love levers

I have a rainbow set ready for my next build, which means I should have already known all of this. But I’m a very busy man.

Dang. Do they do a short pull? Im thinking about getting some more growtac brakes for a dropbar 29er conversion and it would be good to have these should I go back to flat bars, just trying to cover my dither options ; )

These are the canti ones from the seller I used:
Just found this amazing item on AliExpress. Check it out! $33.94 | Abrazadera de palanca Canti 18/5000, paño de freno de disco, punto perfecto de segundo

The long pull ones have a nice stiff feeling to the lever, like very little flex. I don’t know if they’re the best levers ever or anything. Pubes said the non-contoured lever edges are dumb and he’s probably right, but if it bothered me I’d probably put the silicone lever condoms on.

Had an idea of how to mount a light to the Radlawn rack and it worked out great.

I’d probably do a ziptie from the basket to the long silver spacer just for security (so the light can’t fall into spokes) but that is because that style of clamp gives me the heebie jeebies…

If I care more about function over form I could just get the Tiagras. Not interested in something with sharp edges for poopbarning.

Not a bad idea, thanks (and done). I’ve had similar setups using p-clamps (the vibration-damping variety with some sort of rubber on the clamping area) that haven’t had any issues, but can see how the transition between clamping and not clamping could be shorter with the strut mount.

Finally got around to hooking up the headlight on the Hase Gravit. Pulled the Reverb out to warranty it (THANKS SRAM) but found a setback post I could flip to test a more forward position to offset the comically slack seattube angle. Ride home suggests it’s the right move. Still need to wire up the taillight and another tweak but I think the dithering stage is almost done.

Built up the Seabort for my daughter. She says it fits right and is the smoothest bike she’s ever ridden!

Kinda want to remove decals from stupid light wheels from @Hazlewood
Honestly, the wheels might be overkill.

Yeah remove the decals, I was always too lazy to do so.

That is an awesome bike, nice pink hubs!

Put the silver stuff on. Trying to lift the bike to turn it around in our tiny little office was enough to make my dumb wrist scream in agony so indoor picture is all I could muster. Enjoy the mess.

Might need silver pedals
