What did you do to your crosscheck today?

are they E bikes or are they charging batteries with the dynamo?

Some are ebikes and some are wired to their own batteries.

I can only assume all of these people also own Jeeps with matching headlights.

Sad cdale didn’t bring that cargo bike with the lights to the US to sell a dozen units of.

They were all euro bros so maybe not.

I wanna do something similar on my dummy.

Put a big freewheel and new chain on kiddos bike…… so it course the rear brake rubs now.

Put a new chain on my MTB, so of course it doesn’t shift anymore….

Looked at my commuter, so of course the front tire is flat.

Man I fucking hate bikes.

installed a brake cable/housing that’s finally long enough and a new Boken, had a juggle getting it seated and filled with a Schraeder-only air chuck and a standard hand pump

feeling :colbert: because the bike is all black now without gumwall tires; it needs colour accents badly

I went for my first night MTB ride and forgot to check the battery charge on my handlebar light before I went. The hangover headlamp is good but I didn’t feel comfortable riding with only it.

studded tires and a rudimentary fender install on the disc converted GT. how about that front fender line :biting_lip:

Fender line needs that with extra grippy tires and snow. I’ll allow it.

Look at this fugn friendship bracelet

Can confirm that dynamo wire can be routes thru a searchlight fork

i’m planning to get it a little closer eventually but need to find a way to extend the daruma down because the fork crown is way high compared to the 26" wheel

I got like a 4ft long piece of 1/8" x 1/2" mild steel bar stock like 10 years ago and have been cutting off short sections and drilling/threading them to extend fender mounts on all my bikes ever since. I haven’t even gone through half of it yet. Made a water bottle mount out of it and other shit too. Stainless rack struts from the fuck-it-bucket at your local shop works too.

I can vouch for this, use it on the Vaya and it positions the fender perfectly. It’s a bit heavy, but that’s the only flaw.

seems like that all might work better with an L bracket on the fender instead of a daruma… but maybe i’m not quite picturing this properly in my brain. i did see this post that had some suggestions specifically for fenders with darumas Using a recessed brake bolt or seat post binder for 650B conversion fender attachment at the crown – Eléctricalités A.T.

added some pinstripes

bah… should I just put the old chain back on my MTB? It was shifting fine… or buy a new fucken cassette…

So I bought a new cassette. Put the new cassette on. Went through an entire derailer tune protocol. And mostly shifts… Kind of like shit. Doesn’t skip though… new cassette has some black coating on it… My first time using a Shimano chain in a while… It just seems like everything’s fucking sticky.

I replaced the chain on my road bike, though, took the old one off, measured the new one, put it on and rode the bike for two hours. It was fine. What the actual fuck.
