Got a bike fit. They raised the saddle nearly 2 inches. Guess that’s why my knee hurt.
My dude bikes are metric
it’s an old schwinn
and your girl bikes are imperial?
Tell that to my Jack Taylor tandem
Metric measures that happen to magically align with inch fractions.
Dude is a non gendered term

hmm A Lesson In Gendered Terms by Mig. didnt we do this already?
he fell right into your trap
Nah.
I’ve called my afab partner “dude” for fifteen years. They’re more of a “dude” than a “girl” but more of a woman than a man. Gender is wacky as you know.
My girl child calls everyone dude. I think it’s cos of Bluey.
Isn’t it crazy how language can change from day to day and mean so many different things
In common speech it’s treated as nongendered, but some of us are possibly a bit touchy about it and prefer the classics (“comrade”, “my droogs”)
I’m as GenX as anybody with my emotional attachment to ‘dude’, ability to quote Big Lebowski, whatever, but…times have changed. Language has moved on, the succeeding generations took it in a new direction. We have to keep up.
I get the feeling around younger people that using ‘dude’ as a ‘non-gendered’ word gives the impression that one might be one of ‘those’ old people that may drop something much more problematic when they’re least expecting it. The Venn Diagram overlaps frequently enough.
Dude is now bro or bruh. Source: I have a 12yo.
Can confirm
So bruh/bro/broooo is non-gendered?
