What did you do to your crosscheck today?

unsolicited advice: check yer crank bolts(or whatever secures the crank to the BB spindle) and maybe chainring bolts too.

Took the too-wide Noodles off of my fixed gear and put the old deep drop traditional bend bars on, but with a slightly shorter stem.

I know the frame probably has a crack at the seat cluster but screw it it’s probably fine and I’ll just ride it until it actually fails.

removed the challenge handmade jawns and replaced them with the gp5000 handmade jawns

it remains to be seen how well they hold sealant (by the looks of it there should be no issues whatsoever), and it was probably the most pleasant tubeless setup experience i’ve ever had

Rode the new BMX in a park for the first time. Can roll out of a 180 on the freecoaster. Grinds are a lot more intimidating than on the 24.

Broke my first part playing polo

Spent all evening swapping out the bars/levers on my son’s bike so he could get his first ride in. He called me this morning saying he was too tired from work smh

I (mainly) finished converting my emergency randonneuse to disco lyfe today, using up two of the cx-50 calipers in my bike mess.

I need to reroute the rear light wire up the chairpole and hang a new rear light from the saddle. I SHOULD repaint it, but I’m going to ride it around a bit first before ripping everything apart again for a new coat of traction orange paint.

Mounted 2 klite lights on the Open up for a comparo. Swapped tire from my rooted rim-braked dynamo wheel and put it on another wheel on the Geoffrey Butler. Spent a good hour trying to true a 200 mm disc rotor on my pub bike. Failed. Expressed the gizz out of the inner tubes I used in the Karapoti retro race and put the old Rolf wheels with RTPs back on the retro bike. Put the 2.3 tire i used in retro race on the front of the cdale f700, instead of the tubeless crossmark, which I had used on the back of the retro bike. Swapped cassette from retro wheelset back onto the Rolf wheelset. Took the lower vpp suspension linkage out of my Tallboy as I am pretty sure it needs new bearings.

I still havent even ridden my plastic roadie since putting a cheapie alloy ali-express cassette on it a year ago, or my F700 which I had put a new rear dangler on, or my drop-barred Cdale flash with the post-mount Growtacs on, apart from one stupid mtb criterium. I really need to get rid of some bikes : (

I see an all axle and super harness I hit the heart.

Let me know if you have any issues with your setup. Mine had some growing pains but seems generally problem free after a few RMA. The power still sometimes cuts out on big hills in higher assist settings. Never an issue with throttle though…

So far it was a no brainer. Did you set up a brake cutout? I have the magura hydro sensor that I am planning on building an adapter to plug it in but after shakedown ride I’m trying to decide how necessary it is. Also I pulled the trigger based on your endorsement

That looks fecking mean.

My Mahle motor does the same thing if I don’t spin at 90+ rpm. I usually just use the second power setting, since it’s a 50 W difference.

That’s a weird looking orange 1x1

I was going to do that Magura sensor since I had perfectly functioning brakes already. Instead I just got some cheap Shimano MT200 that had a brake sensor (I think they are OEM only) but the cutoff wasn’t adjustable and wasn’t sensitive enough. Ended up getting a single Magura MT5 with the brake cutoff and it’s great.

You’re welcome to the MT200 brake lever with sensor I have for free if you want to try it. It’s a front brake.
