They only made one key code to optimize for supply chain issues
I finally built the front wheel for my 1x1.
Now I just gotta build the rear and Iāll have a cool bike to lean against a wall and never ride!
Hot Tarck Summer: BAAW Edition
1 in a 1000 as it turns out. Still kinda crazy. I bought the first set from a LBS and the second set from Jimmy.
Which is better than it used to be 24 years ago

I emailed a sailboat sail repair shop to ask if theyād fix my cargo bike canopy. I hope they say yes, Iād much rather get the thing fixed locally.
My BIL got his fixed at a place in Portland for very little money. In case you need a backup.
Seems like a good excuse to buy a burly sewing machine
Was that Mountain Soles?
I donāt think so. This was somewhere with a physical storefront on the east side of the river if I recall. Texting my BIL to ask, but heās notoriously bad at communication.
An upholstery shop (either furniture or car/boat seats) might be another local option.
Sail shop was a no.
I reached out to the maker, but upholstery shop sounds like it might be the ticket!
He got back to me - BlaqPaks
Thatās who made mine.
They said theyād fix it, but now I dunno, maybe I should just buy another one. I donāt really want to be without a canopy. I rely pretty heavily on the thing and Iām sure their turnaround for a repair wonāt exactly be lightening quick.
I could buy a new one and then send the old one to be repaired when the new one arrives and then eventually have a spare I guess. But that seems ridiculous, the thing aināt cheap.
Then youāll have 2 canopies
Which means youāll have to build another bike around them
and have another kid
Donāt do this. I did. I love them but goddamn me time is now non-existent.
that was sarcasm. I barely have a cat, and itās a little much for me sometimes
I think Iād rather have one kid and two canopies.
kid will be so dry!
