Yamaguchis

Pulled this off Flickr.

look its john prolly

Yamaguchi replied to my first email pretty quickly, but my follow up (in which I expressed interest in actually buying a frame but also asked about fillet brazing and a different fork crown) has gone unanswered for a while now. I hope he doesn’t hate me because I used some shoddy Japanese in the email.

he doesn’t sit in front of the computer all day
be patient he’ll answer

this is a stupid post

hes probably busy building frames or teaching frame building classes
that doesn’t require sitting in front of a computer all day
get it
hes slow at teh emailzz

Is your frame done yet?

lol

are you talking to dook?
his frame is posted in the very first post i think it is, the white lugged frame.
custom geometry, made specifically for his body, tubing picked according to his “race weight”, tube lengths chosen according to the sheet he had to fill out that required many of his body measurements…so his frame actually fits him well.

yamaguchi teaches a framebuilding class each month that is two weeks long. he also had a large order from japan so he is busy, said the wait might be a little longer soon…

yeah see 1st page very 1st pic

it rides real nice too

I was talking (joking) to SteveSentMe

oh…well no joking.
this is the internet and it is very serious bizness.

He replied today. Sending in the deposit once he e-mails me the info on it.

Is your move done yet, dummy?

Yeah just not unpacked a single thing.

Except the computer. Nerd.

haha.

Im not at home.
Im in TN for a few days and heading back to atl.

This bike looks hella wonky

Is it done yet?

He hasn’t responded to the last e-mail I sent like a week ago asking about how to send payment. (Dickhead)

Which may be for the better. Now that I’m actually trying to start a life in a new city, I’m not sure I want to be spending that kind of cash on something I don’t need and that will only require a lot more cash (to build up). We’ll see if he responds. If not, I may just let it go.
