Hase cargo frame module ships this week. STOKED on the series of bad decisions that are about to follow.

Are you getting one of their insert brackets that goes int the motor cabinet, to allow use with normal cranks?

Yes. No motor for me. This is going to be rail-trail crapbrapper with the kid and general commuter shenanigans bike.

Look at this brilliant bit of garage engineering!

lol that thing rules

I still kinda wish I could have got a Big Fat Dummy. Would be a pretty sweet platform for a electric kit.

Speaking of xtracycle, should I put my free rad on this bike and try to relive my glory days?

The only problem with this plan is that I don’t have enough space for three full size cargo bikes at the moment. I think I’m just gonna get a giant Wald and get it back on the road with a new front brake(the old one was literally dripping oil from the caliper. There was zero confusion there).

This is so wild, can’t wait to see this transformers ass bike all done up Outpost style

Not quite ready for PYB, but it got its inaugural grocery run done with no complaints.

To come:
better grips, better cable management, alloy seatpost w/ a stem & narrow sweet fixie bars for passengers.

Long term:
nicer wheels, these are both junk from my junk pile, would love to stumble on a 135mm front dynamo and build up something fun for that massive fork.

they feel soooo good

@igor do the granola moose feel meaningfully different than reg granola?

Stiffer, but the same dims as the reg one

Pretty sure the odds are better that one of us has a normal fork for you than that you find the worlds rarest $380 hub on the side of the trail?

Why would I want a normal fork when I can put rear wheels on a gigantic fatbike fork?

Your looking for a rear dynamo hub?
