After selling several dozen high end adaptive trikes from Hase, ICEtrike and Catrike I’m convinced they somehow have better engineers then most of the industry. ICE in particular is really impressive. The amount of care and thoughtful design that goes into one is pretty amazing.

I just need to order the drivetrain and lace up wheels and this contraption will be ready to send (gently).

how does that telescoping section work? their copy mentions it collapses for transport but that doesn’t explain why there are so many adjustment lengths labelled

One pinch bolt on the boom. One on the steering rod. Not sure why you would want multiple options either. But maybe for tuning weight distribution. I guess I’ll find out.

yeah there seems to be a linkage at the front and back of the platform too? I guess it lets you adjust the wheelbase and weight distribution

Yeah. There’s some wiggle room, but not a whole lot.

Spokes arrived today. Should have a rolling chassis this weekend

Looks like you asked a 2022 midjourney to draw you an Omnium.

IT was like, this should be an e-bike. But we’ll just bolt on a regular bb thing. Pretty sweet.

They do sell an ebike version.

That bracket opens up interesting possibilities to fab one with more bb drop or different stack/reach.

I’m curious how heavy the spring in that fork is. Maybe it doesn’t matter?

Is it time to purchase ‘cagro.cc’ and have it redirect here?

100lbs of fire gas. No problem.

That’s only 40lbs of gas though if you’re lucky enough for them to actually be filled all the way

Always get your propane from a welding or plumbing supply. The shit at depot is half full because of fire codes.

They did feel light.
I thought I was just strong.
They’re not from depot, they’re from the local hardware spot, but I’m sure the point stands.

If they’re blue rhino they’re almost certainly not full. That company always shorts the fill. Luckily nearby we have a few gas stations that will fill tanks and it’s cheaper and they actually put a full 20lbs in it.

They are blue rhino. Guess I’m getting ripped off.
My desire to patronize the local hardware store far outweighs my desire to get every possible oz of propane I am owed. I grill like three times a year so these cans will last like five years.
