If that’s as often as you need them, better to swap anyway. Never know if the guy at fill station is going to check the date on the tank
swapping is a great way to ditch old tanks. filling is usually like 25% cheaper for 33% more gas. the rhino only does 15-16 lbs iirc. this matters more to me now that i have a pizza oven
Now that I think about it, this may begin to matter to me once the kitchen reno begins. I suspect I’ll be cooking out there primarily for a couple months. It’s that or a hot plate in the basement.
blue rhino got sued a few years ago for filling short so this isn’t just wild speculation
don’t forget about the duxtop 110v standalone induction burner for like $80. killer piece. i still bust my kitchen reno duxtop out when i need one extra “just simmer it” burner or when i want to make marcella hazan tomato sauce outside while the kid jumps on the trampoline
I kinda forgot I have an induction burner I use for hotpot. I need to get an extension cord for cooking outside this summer. Or I guess I could get another big tank adapter for my Coleman stove…
Not only were they shorting tanks, but colluding with AmeriGas to both do it!
So I actually just went to my propane fill guy about a week ago. I was positive I had an empty tank but apparently it was far from empty! Still cost me $20 lol.
Are you guys tellin me that some gas companies got together and did a bad thing?!? I am SHOCKED
This is really something! Folding cargo bikes are amazing and seem to just keep getting better/weirder!
I get my propane refilled at a local place, and there’s a scale involved. Do other places just crack the valve and count Mississippi’s?
My guy uses a scale to know when the tank is full but he charges you $20 no matter what he puts in it these days
I got one of these because I was sick of running out of gas, or having to remove from grill to pick up and shake.
As someone who has a propane tank that must be running on thoughts and prayers for nearly 3 years, I need this
link me bro
I think I impulse bought mine at Home Cheapo? I don’t remember.
The Hase is built and I even had time for a short test ride. I still have to decide on where/how I want to run the dynamo lights. But the rest is pretty dialed.
Feels like we’re owed another 965 words
I’m about to run the wire for the rear light on the Madsen. Turns out, this thing is much lighter and easier to work on without the box on it. That thing attaches with 2 m6!
