You're gunna hurt yourself: Carry Shit Olympics (aka the Cargo Bike thread)

Found an acoustic dummy, adding parts to Q cart, trying to not get silly.

Gotta clean up my Bullitt for sale, any of you interested in it?

it’s like Rusty or Face ferrying kids around, having cute picnics, interesting curb scores, riding trails

I’ve thought about getting a GoPro or dash-cam like device both for safety and to catch the rad moments I don’t wanna stop and capture.

Riding up this, the low line, is where my dropout exploded.

I hate moving, and if I’m gonna go pick up a load of boxes I’m gonna have some fun too.

Hell yeah. Go with the 2.5 extraterrestrials. You won’t regret it. Even though the chain with tickle the tire in the lowest gears.

That’s the plan! Bike already comes with a velocity dually wheel set and the 2.6 ETs, they’re all black, wish they were the greys. The front hub dimensions are close enough to the dyno on my basket bike I’m gonna swap that over and build it up with some Tektro 4 piston brakes and an m8000 drivetrain.

That’ll be the most badass BD in Chigagoland.
Can’t wait to see it.

Lil baby ready to join big bro and I on the party machine. I was giddy installing the seat thinking about the fun we will have.

Now I just gotta get the little fucker to keep his helmet on so we can start riding in time for freezing dark winter.

We have a second passenger today. Boney Boney Boney Bones made a lot of people smile on my commute and now I’m sitting here in my office and I can hear every child that passes on the street outside my window pointing it out to their caregiver as they walk past.

Do we think my cat will hate me if I take him to his vet appointment via cargo bike? It’s not terribly far and he’s pretty chill…

You’re halfway to YouTube fame if you do

oh man.

so ten years ago I took Toby (RIP) to the vet on the front porteur rack in a carboard carrier, that is securely closed when you are holding the handle as it locks the flaps.

got there ok with constant ‘you are murdering me’ yowls, but on the return he managed to claw the lid downwards opening a gap to jump out of while moving, hit the road at a rate of knots, run in front of an oncoming car and hide under a parked car.

next time I used a hard shell carrier.

It looks funny but cargo bikes look funny. Kind of a “deal with it” problem

Looks pretty sweet to me.
