You're gunna hurt yourself: Carry Shit Olympics (aka the Cargo Bike thread)

that is a deal and a half

This thing rules, and you can adjust the travel to essentially have 2 preset saddle heights. Perfect for multi-height cargolyfe.

That’s such a screaming deal. And worst case scenario, you guys hate it and sell it for what you bought it.

Nothing better than buying some nerd’s spreadsheet project for like 50% of what they put into it

Though I have to say, I’m a little shocked now having got my in-near-new-condition Big Dummy for $850, is there just no used market for cargo bikes? Is it still just a bridge too far for the normies?

Dude, there’s totally a used market. It’s you and me.

We also can find $1200 bullitts here - though few and far between

One time I saw a kind soul listing a fully dynoed Edgerunner for a thousand bucks but none of you jerks would buy it

Trying this out.
End goal if i like it is to run another tail light and wire for when the trailer is installed.
Rode 6 blocks to the post office and back. totally wiped out, but it was really really easy to carry up the stairs with the trailer still installed.

I bought our Bullitt before sup really spent much time thinking about carrying kiddios around on bikes. It was my bike and I rode the kid around when we went places and she wasn’t into it.

After awhile she wanted to get into the kid carry game but wasn’t thrilled about my DIY kid carrying solution. Kid #2 arrives, she started test riding some other cargo bikes including Urban Arrow, which she loved because the high box walls up front made her feel the kids were more secure. She also tried Bakfietsen, Christiana trikes, Babboe, and the Butchers and Bicycles flexy trike thing.

I still can’t get my head around it but they are selling like crazy here right now. Anyway, UA was/is her favorite but in the end couldn’t get over how big it was after comparing to the Bullitt.

Fast forward to now. She commutes on the Bullitt everyday :man_shrugging: I don’t get to ride it anymore.
