You're gunna hurt yourself: Carry Shit Olympics (aka the Cargo Bike thread)

What are the dimensions?
Also how’d you mount it?

21.26 x 14.17 x 11.81

I haven’t mounted it yet, have been waiting to get it before ordering any hardware. Right now it’s looking like p-clamps and using some of the holes meant for the optional casters.

Wanted to post pics for any members of the Lorry crü that were still dithering so they have some idea how big it is.

That’s the perfect size for my Clyde. Where’d you order it from?

Uncle Jeff

for the clydesdale i had to do some hole drilling and fender washer clipping fuckery. needed to make basically half washers for the back. i think i drilled other holes for the front as well.

you already know this but i love my big ant. i never get a good chance to utilize its foldability but it’s there!

edit: here it is

That is a disaster waiting to happen if that keg ever gets filled

That keg was full in that photo

rip

Lorry is killing it for me. So rad for puttering around taking photos (kickstand is a game changer here) and riding over to the local track for a workout.

Well now I’m imagining a fixed lorry with track drops and a deep section rear wheel.

anyone used a C19 carved? a nicer version of the stock wideboi would be nice

Yerp, it’s what I have on my katu. It’s fine, I haven’t thought about it once and that’s all I want.
Built well!

I wish the Cambium saddles were flatter side to side like the B saddles. Seems like they’d be great for cargo bike duty but they just don’t work with my geometry.

Me too. The c17 I had almost crippled me but the b17 is probably my favorite saddle of all time.

Finally got around to putting a dyno tail light on my Bullitt. The wire routing isn’t even totally offensive!

Working on this bike is a real pain in the dick.

First shop I worked in had a regular customer with a recumbent tandem. We made them call us to schedule a time any time they wanted bring the bike in to get checked out. To work on it, we had to use two stands and the entire shop space. It was wild.

I’m still getting over how big my lorry is and it isn’t even big.
