Le Clydesdale
I like the integrated stand, that would be very attractive for child transportation.
That kickstand very much stands out to me. I have an omnium jumbo kickstand on my clydes which is cool for the bike itself but it would be really nice to not have a floppy fork while loading weight.
Holy shit that kickstand solves the one and only problem with the crust fork.
Holy shit that thing costs almost .6 euro bongs!
taking notes
That’s excellent!
Want tp get into cargobiking
Should i xtracycle kid or find someone to cut/extend one of my bikes?
My first cargo bike was an old xtracycle kit and theres still times I regret selling it. Especially for someone as tall as you, and with a decent old rigid mtb frame you can build something for cheap that gets damn close to 3 or 4k off the shelf bikes. Plus they’re a ditherers paradise.
Xtracycle is great for kid carrying. It’ll be a million times better than the janky rear rack setup you’ve got and you just curb scored a perfect donor frame! It’s kismet!
Is that a dog bed in there?
Yep, for my cat. He’s kinda too big for cat beds.
It’s not all dog bed. Bottom layer is 10 lbs of cat food, middle layer is treats and candy.
yeah. i need to do this. what straps you got
there cuzzo?
It’s Strapworks 3/4” stuff. They also have patterned webbing if you want to be fun. I used plain slides on the inside to keep the straps in place.
The strap with the box stitches going across is a simple sling that I cut in half to connect the two outer straps in case they want to slide off whatever I’m carrying. The other end uses a thin bar slide so that it’s adjustable, for options. They might not ever get used.
And these buckles
Yodel strap
you da goat. i also want some on the sides for keeping things upright
Please share what you come up with. I want something like that too, but lazy so far.
