Do you believe in magic
Because the path doesnât matter, just the distance and direction normal to the steerer.
is this good or bad
I couldnât find it
Iâve thought about reversing the stem on my cargo bike a couple times, tt is long enough.
Completely missed that when looking on my phone last night. I thought it was somewhere in the hidden nested comments.
Yeah, it doesnât look like a link, just some tiny text at the bottom
Kind of rad seeing something I helped make/build being featured like this.
Some more riding from the bike park, our âbike festivalâ turned digital this year with the whole Covid19-situation. Donât know if it was good or not since I didnât really follow it while it was going on.
I donât particularly enjoy Claudioâs running commentary but itâs fun seeing other people riding the same trails you do but much much faster.
Here are the video edits that entered the annual âVideo Challengeâ, the Dad-edit with Robin Wallner, his wife Elin Nilsson and their son Ted won ![]()
Threadjumping for visibility, anyone try the TRP Trail brakes? Theyâre basically Quadiems with one downsized piston for a little more progression, and probably a little less power for better pad clearance.
Iâd worry about getting into increasingly obscure pad standards
Shimano
yes but
The TRP G-Spec brakes are supposed to be cross-compatible with Shimano pads, FWIW.
The quadiems are pretty rad. Shimano bleed, saint pads, sram modulation, shimano power.
oooh I understand now
The one day I donât wear knee pads (I donât regret this, but maybe I could have carried them in my pack for the rocky descent at the end of our 60 mile day).
TRPâs seems legit from what Iâve heard and read, dosenât suck that you can throw in shimano pads either. Sometimes I wish that would be the case with my HopeâsâŠ
I really like how the lever/body looks, but thatâs entierly beside the point.
@Amy: Sometimes the gnar shreds you. Heal up!
