Damn that’s incredible

How can I watch Rampage on Saturday without ESPN+?

I guess this is how I learn that it’s not on redbull TV like it normally is…??

Yeah, it’s only on ESPN+ for America, then rebroadcasted later

https://www.pinkbike.com/news/pinkbike-primer-how-to-watch-red-bull-rampage-2024.html

The broadcasts will be available on the Pinkbike homepage, except for viewers in the USA where it’ll be on ESPN+ live, before being made available everywhere on replay.

Guess I’ll just use a VPN and watch on Red Bulls own site

Thankfully it sounds like we can just watch the women’s event on redbull TV. Going to a viewing party with a group of friends so it’d be a real bummer if we had to sign up for some whole new service that none of us want.

I’m OK with watching the men’s event a couple days late.

Women’s runs will be easy to watch live, thankfully

I liked watching all the Joyride stuff live, even with all the rambling from presenters, so I’ll be a bit bummed if I miss the men’s event live. But a condensed recap later on probably won’t be too bad either

NSMB has a good rundown on how to watch;

Women’s rampage replay, timestamped when the first run starts. Shit’s so good.

Bummed for Cami. I did get to sorta work on her bike, as I helped a young mech drop her dh fork to put on a single crown. Love she was committed to trying to ride the next day. But like Hannah Bergmann, this was just the first year, so they can rock it next year.

So as soon as the budget allows, I think i’m going to upgrade the fork on the pine mountain. It just has a judy. Did two trail rides in moab on it since my ripmo was out of commission and that fork was rough. Wouldnt mind upgrading it to a 140 either as it’s a pretty fun trail bike, but i need something more plush for rocks.

Is a marzocchi z2 enough of an upgrade? Anyone got experience with them? would be pretty affordable on fox prodeal.

I feel like the smart money for a mid level fork is still the Revelation. I really liked the one I had for a couple years. I honestly can’t say the the Factory 34 I have now is really any better (except for it being lighter).

Just the men’s runs, all the other nonsense cut out

Oh will check that out when we return from port Angeles. I don’t mind some of the pre recorded stuff just like 2:50 of it.

It was something

stupid sexy COIL

Damn, I threw this on in a hurry because daylight was precious, set the rebound to the middle, bounced around and decided to take one click off at which point it perfectly matched my fork when doing a bunny hop. And that’s it. Just felt great.

More support than my air shock to the point that the whole bike felt different, great pedaling platform (with or without lockout tbh), incredibly planted and so smooth through chunky stuff.

The avalanche suspension guy said with hydraulic bottom out on the shock, I shouldn’t bother to run the cascade link. Not sure what to think about that but he’s the boss. I ran the stock link and added one click of bottom out as a treat.
