why do they all look like weird nurse shoes or something? the proportions donāe look like real people shoes and I feel weird about it.

I really like the look of the Fox Union shoes, but havenāt been able to try them on so I have no idea how much room is in those shoes. they have a cool looking mid-top model too.

I think it has to do with the padded collar to protect the ankle bones a bit. My ~10 year old pair is still trucking along just fine, though. Iāve got a new pair of RideConcepts whatevers waiting for their turn, still.

I picked up some used trp brakes from @runwhatyabrung and had them installed on the ebike a while back.
I bedded them in and they felt fine, but first descent i rode them on last month the front one started feeling shitty. Just really grindy and uneven feel. Doesnāt howl, just sounds like grinding.
It feels fine on a short ride, but comes back on every ride after being ridden a bit.
It feels awful and makes me hate the bike even more.
The rotor looks fine and pads look fine. I believe the pads were new in the front but i didnāt put them on.
How do i fix this?
