They sucked when SunTour sold them, and they suck 200-times more, now.
$200? Sterling silver?
Sandcast pot metal, I suspect.
how do enough people buy this sort of shit to justify the manufacturing
I saw those at TPE when they were still in the prototyping phase. I’m surprised they went to 11sp friction, as the 10sp clicky model I saw had some solid clicks. While the construction is pretty good, I’m not sure how the product falls into today’s realm of clicky sti shifters. Click.
For when you have serious moral objections to brifters, but a) have a handlebar bag that’s juuuust too wide for Kelly Take-Offs, b) don’t want to take your hands off the bars to shift, c) don’t want to pay licensing fees to the retroshift people, and d) have equally serious reservations about bar-end shifters?
Ban
Unless he is posting in the character of someone who objects to brifters. Because they would call them brifters
congratulations are in order though for Gevenalle, as they no longer have the worst shifting solution.
The mind boggles imagining all the terrible builds which will pop up on the Radavist in six months with these awful turds.
Tc:not bad
they’re not even full turds, they’re handlebar dingleberries
I have a hard time imagining even radavist bros being into these. Maybe simworks?
I’m gonna hold out for the Di2 version
Radabros will be all over these dumb shifters. You’ll see shitty copy about how they wanted to be “unique” or wanted to “think outside the box.”
Those things mounted to the TRP hydro levers are going to common in Southern California internet bikes.
Or some shitty vintage levers and Paul Clampies.
Um when is paulcomp coming out with an ano’d Version?
I was wondering about pricing for artisanal friction shifters, and well, that’s one data point
