Bike Products Which Exist, But Which One Wishes Did Not

Hope they’re stiffer

what does this do? just be a really humongous stem?

Only in the sense that Paul knocked-off the Mafac cantilever brake.

Does mafac still exist? Calling them “cafam” seems like it’s inviting legal action.

Is Tarck cranky today? Neither of those seem particularly horrible.

Yeah those cantis look fine, stem looks like a fairly normal BMX style stem.

Mafac closed in the 80s.

The IRD brakes came out in 2005.

Yall are way late to the game and also particularly whiny. Those brakes are not only old news but also at the time a great replacement for a very hard to find part.

Yeah, neither of these products compare to the average piece of shit you can find by typing in “bicycle” on Kickstarter. I have no use for either, but I recognize that they have a place.

How can I make half a mill on Kickstarter just to make regular road bikes?
