My atac pedals lasted for many cross seasons. The cleats, however, seemed to wear out just sitting in the closet. After drilling out my second pair because I’d worn the bolt head down, I decided to switch to spd.

10 speed chain is 10 speed chain, right? Long enough for triple is long enough for MTB?

It’s the 116 link variant, probably. Most modern MTB chains start around 126 links.

Bicycle weight limit is 300 lbs. total, including rider + all gear carried on the bike and on the rider’s body
is this just an overly conservative safety factor?

The bike looks pretty stout but the racks are not rated for massive amounts of weight so I dunno if that figures into a number like that

Hate to tell you this, the guy at REI did not seem to think that stock was going to be a problem with this one lol
Also you can ask if they have any demo/scratch and dent models for more $ back. We randomly picked one that had an extra 15% off, then they couldn’t find the key for it, so they ordered a new one that they still gave me the 15% off on. They want to move these
It also qualifies for a $200 local rebate so this is a real coup for a deal hunter such as myself
