You just gotta look up any state/county/city ebike rebates. I only know the city of Seattle has one because a coworker told me when they bought an ebike.

Lol apparently Connecticut’s rebate program was a total shitshow, opening 6/28/23 with funding for 500 applicants. They closed it 7/8/23 after over 5000 people applied.

Honestly I would have just gone today if my car key didn’t keep getting stuck in the ignition. As much as I don’t care about my car I don’t really want to leave it in the parking with the key in it!

that’s how it’s been in Denver too. 3 or 4 rounds of rebates, all getting claimed within minutes of them opening the application process. pretty wild how big the demand is

Gotta say, a fixed front rack like that (as opposed to fork mount) is pretty sweet. You can strap large objects onto it and it won’t mess with your steering

enough people complained that the 42t was limiting (it was!) and so they comped everyone who asked for it a 48t chainring, new chain, new freewheel.

fortunately we had <200 miles on so now we have a spare freewheel and chain

It’s def not big enough, but for 1/8th Bullitt I’m pretty stoked since it’s 100 degrees here and I lose the car when my lease ends tmw
