I mean 50 meters is a long way
30% hit probability in a 60 degree arc seems pretty good, that seems like a wide spread.
My experience is limited to action movies but I would assume 2-3 meters is the more common goal
especially considering it mostly does the thing specifically when someone enters the range
Found a company my dad used to work for in this article
Does anyone have a strong opinion or experience on warm weather base layers? My bibs keep chafing my nips and I don’t want to use goo or some stick on thing. Is sleeveless better than sleeved? Brand to go with?
LOL
Too much irish ancestry, would just be a lobster on a bike
Sleeveless all the way, I’ve had good luck with DeFeet Un-D Shirt, Black Bibs basic baselayer, and c.2010 Patagonia Capilene (the lightest weight one they were selling then).
Plus Castelli mesh for really hot days / steamy boudoir photoshoots.
A +1 for Black Bibs mesh base layers. Mostly for price. They are pretty basic and fit on the small side (i.e. a little short, I know they’re supposed to be snug).
Ditto. I’ve tried ones twice as expensive that weren’t nearly as good.
I"m not buying Assos baselayers because I don’t want to find out that I actually need a $100 baselayer under a $150 jersey
Aka the domestic abuser base layer.
those tan lines are going to be a puzzle for the ages; that photo, the only rosetta stone

Are these the 31 wide ones?
These are i23. I didn’t measure the outside.
