Did you just ShartQ?

Hmm, not really liking the steps on the Linkglide 11-45 11 spd cassette compared to the 11-42 currently on the bike. I’ll deal with the shifting issue for better ratios for now.

SLOW but very smooth and predictable. Which I guess is the point. If you’re used to HG drivetrains the speed is noticeable.

The thing that I’m looking for would be one of the following:

  • a hard line that exits the lever at an angle
  • a banjo bolt that fits in the lever threading
  • a banjo bolt that connects to more hose so I can make a 90* two inches off the lever

Moto brakes have this all figured out already, I’m hoping cruising AliExpress returns some obscure fix

Edit: here’s the magura fix https://www.modernbike.com/product-2126320171

I considered linkglide / CUES for a long time for my hub drive build and was going to get the 10 speed stuff. I liked the smaller cassette of the 2x drivetrain and was going to pair that with my existing narrow/wide for a 1x system.

Ended up getting the Advent Super Short instead for reasons.

What do I need from McMaster to make my current $14 parts+$18 shipping order more reasonable?

Nylon set screws for unused frame warts? Titanium hardware?
Single sockets/ Allen keys?
Having a hard time thinking of stuff right now.

I think some of the older formula oro brakes have banjos at the lever.

The nylon set screws are what I’m ordering but good call on the other stuff.

Well you’ll need one to use the axel vice you just bought.
Here let me help.

Does anyone here make frame bags or have a friend that does? I got a kinda shitty topeak jawn about a year or two ago and have been wanting to upgrade to something with better attachment and maybe a few different zippers and pouches.

Yeah that’s probably badass but way outta my price range

Find one on craigslist

Not cheap, but Rockgeist is pretty incredible.

i have this buddy and am very happy with my homeboner use. it’s slightly annoying because the rotation finishes locking in with clamping the vise, but overall it hasn’t let me down

at this point i would probably roll the dice on the HF doyle vices tho. that line seems to be decent, at least their hand tools

Ash got me that Wilton I posted for xmas a few years ago. I’m not sure exactly how much she paid but I know it was less than 250. Prices do be inflatin.
Edit: she says she paid 160 for it. Wild how much the price went up!

if one can get that wilton for $160, that is 100% the answer
