internal would be better, I think? I’ve got an unused cable hole thingy cuz singlespeed
i had a gravity dropper. never again.
Looks like they heavy too now. I have an external LEV but dont think its particularly light.
i only need a few inches to be able to enjoy the proximity to my taint
OneUp v2 Dropper or the nu v3
Mountain bike without a dropper is just a hybrid with big tires.

I managed to not notice that my left crank arm was coming loose until today. I noticed a creak every time I pushed with my NDS leg, then I looked down and my crank bolt had popped off and my crank had worked its way about a cm out. Now that left arm of my Dixna La nerd crankset has messy grooves and a missing crank bolt.
I have been thinking about going shorter on crank length anyway lately and, given the exchange rate with Japan right now, it might be a good time to get a shorter set anyways. I am feeling like my knees are just too up in my shit when I pedal and I would like to open up my hips a bit more.
Is there a formula that has worked for you for determining crank length, especially if you have short legs? I felt a huge, huge difference going from 170 down to 165. Now I’m thinking about going down quite a bit shorter, more like 145.
I found some random articles with formulas about tibia length * 0.41, cycling inseam * 0.2, height * .95 that variously get me between 135mm and 155mm.
But also Google search is a steaming pile of shit now, so I turn to the only bike people I trust in the matter.
Should I just yolo some 145mm cranks and see if it feels good?
What’s your saddle height? 155 seems to be about at short as most people feel good on for drop bar bikes.
Check out Croder. We started carrying them at Outpost. So far so good. I’ll be trying some myself shortly.
Have you used or have opinions about their $20 rotors?
Around 640mm these days if I am remembering correctly.
I’d try 155.
I have not. We just brought in the cranks so far.
I broke a port cover thinger when I crashed earlier today, should I just pull the broken bit and whack some electrical tape on there until I need to replace the cable?
Wrap some electrical tape around the housing too to protect it. Maybe a zip tie around the frame after the exit to keep it from wiggling as much. Or better yet. Use a screw mount zip tie right into the little bolt hole.
Do they fit 73mm BBs? Or is that what the Birdy axle is for?
68 only for now AFAIK. The birdy is some folding bike shenanigans.
Oh man, I used this one and multi-tools for some 15yrs before picking a CT 3.3… so much regret for putting up with that for so long.

Solved question but I just broke a Cyclo Rivoli, avoid this one.
