I would buy a hoodie with a :pear: on it but I just can’t buy a hoodie with hairy nuts on it. Sorry, man.

Actually only like zip up hoodies because I’m old and fat and can’t be pulling shit over my head in public when I get warm.

I don’t even see hoodies on your website.

free of hairy nuts. its not on my website because i dont have any.

I bought one of those but then I lost it somewhere.
I’d buy another and then find the original the next day.

Anyone tried/seen one of these racks?

It’s the house component brand for Bombtrack, a German bike manufacturer that’s got a good rep. I only passed on one because the struts look fixed length, which means you’ve gotta nail the axle to crown distance for it to be level.

It’s a pity they didn’t opt for Tubus-style struts.

Thank you! Knew I had seen it before. I had one on my Sundeal. Tubus hardware under the rack platform and I think long replacement struts cut/bent to work and reach the inside of the fork legs (where I had added rivnuts).

Not buying a Sundeal is one of my great regrets in life

Up there with not having a blessed virgin bottom bracket shirt, but one of these regrets has been ameliorated.

Um question: are there aftermarket grip shifters that work with enviolo hubs? Is there a good one?

How did/do you like the rack?

Do I need different calipers for this frame? The front brake pad hits the rim in a good spot in about the middle of the vertical pad adjustment. However, the rear is all the way down and it barely clears the tire. I’m not even sure I’d say it really clears the tire. I’m a total rim brake noob.

It’s a 1970s Italian road bike with some early Shimano 105 brakes and wheels that came from a different frame. I’m pretty sure this was originally a 700c bike, not a 27".

I’ve seen that on a few bikes over the years. Frame and fork different enough in boss placement that it’s hard to find a matching set of calipers.

So do I get those bdop offset brake shoes or try to find a new caliper set with more reach?

start with some parts bin dual-pivot brakes

I did that on my Yamaguchi bike. Luckily Paul Racers have immense pad adjustability.
