Did you just ShartQ?

Is there a crack or just paint coming off? I can’t see shit in those photos.

Looks like it’s buckling, and a few flakes came off from where the paint wrinkled.

You ever see an old Cannondale that’s corroding under the paint?

It’s basically that, but on a bike that’s a year old and ridden maybe 20 hours. It’s probably a finishing defect.

I’m just really frustrated since this is going to be the third warranty claim I’ve made on this bike.

I don’t think a frame would ever buckle at the weld itself. That’s the thickest stiffest part. If there is no crack then either just poor prep/paint job or corrosion I’m guessing.

@igor or anyone else who knows - what’s this measurement on the VO Tall-Stack stem? 40mm?

Hell yeah thanks! Didn’t realize it had that much stack until I saw it in the bikeside chat video. Will work perfect for what I need.

Anyone with the inside scoop know if the drop bar CUES is going to be cable or hydro brakes? Helping a buddy rebuild his specialized awol for bike camping since it was stolen and we are keeping our eyes peeled for an affordable drop bar group if nothing comes up used

The leaked info so far points to hydraulic disc only.

Which do you want? The next month is probably going to be an exceptional low-price point for affordable components.

I’m seeing the same. Norco is speccing U6030 2x10 on some gravel bikes and the lever and caliper part numbers match.

The gearing is interesting too. 46-32 / 11-39

I have: SRAM Red 2x10 shifters and derailleurs, Sugino OX801d cranks 46/30.
Should I:
A. Run it together as is?
B. Get a different front derailleur that works better/plays nicer with 46/30?
C. Skip a front derailleur and convert to 1x?

I just seem to remember setting up these Yaw things was no fun, but… maybe it works fine?

Get an old 2x 10 speed rear sram dangler to soak up the front chainrings. Or get a modern one. I am pretty sure one of the 2x gx danglers is x-actuation and one is exact actuation. Find the right one. I found the yaw setup alright but I was always dropping chains.

get it well setup, I’m using a yaw FD to 10s Red shifters and pushing 46/30 bikingreen chainrings and its butter crisp pie

You can go big on the back with one of these.

Ah yup, the gx 2x 11 speed is x-actuation.
The gx 2x 10 speed is exact-actuation but will also work on 11 speed assuming you have 11 speed shifters, red, rival or ratio ratchet.

If I went Ratio, I’d go 10-52, but the ratio kit, derailleur, chain, cassette really adds up. I think I’ll try run what you brung first!

I reckon 2x is always the best.

You’re a heratic if you butcher that beautiful crankset for a 1x

I’ve been running 1x on those cranks for a decade. Sorry.
