Did you just ShartQ?

I run M18 batteries to power my off-road lights, under glow marker lights, aux USB power, and air horn.

That panel and the wiring is mounted and hidden behind some plastic paneling

-main lights are two off-road light pods forward facing. They are 12v but run on 18v juice just fine. I’ve run cheapo Amazon nilights for 4 years with zero issues
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00IY3YLCI?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

-12v marker lights are stick on lights that I have facing down under the Bullitt bed, makes a nice soft presence lighting that people can see me going down trails at night but won’t blind folks like the light pods do.

-12v automotive air horn with built in compressor. Mounted under bed and wired to a handlebar switch. This puts out some serious giant truck sound and will make drivers slam on the brakes

Been running this setup for about 4 years. It just works. Plenty of room on the big bullitts for all this and I just snap in a fresh battery now and again and it’s ready for action

this is very cool, wonder if you could just use M12 batteries and keep everything 12v native?

Love it. Forgot about the air horn!

Nothing like marker lights for the full truck cosplay. Afterall you’re basically a big rig of bikes

Here a video showing the most simplified proof of concept of that wiring system in action. My on bike version is this with longer wiring and a terminal block, basically

That rules.

Any recs for 25.4 / 26.0 bars that are like Noodles but have some flare for wrist clearance in the dirt? Ergonomics when descending rough stuff in the drops on my Riv are laughably bad.

It’s a dumb shape but it does 26.0 and flared

What was the old nitto/specialized dirt drop? I feel like this is a thing made by blue lug/simworks or an alibaba special

The world is your oyster if you

I’m being a retro-grouch and wanting to stick with quill and non-faceplate stems. I found the Crust Nullar bar, but not sure about the rise in the flats section.

Weren’t all the cool guys just bending out their Noodles with a 2x4 before they started getting their own $200 bars made?

lol I was just looking at that Nullabar and being like “Oh sweet but $120? ooooof” but that’s apparently about how much a Noodle costs these days, I’m still rocking the one @Rusty_Piton gave me years ago and had no idea!

how wide?

Crust has the shaka and bonneville which are both around 46-47 at the ramps

Nitto or Heine brand Randonneur bars have flare and come in a variety of widths, with 25.4 clamps.

The old SR ones I have are comfy. Guess they do have some rise at the corners like the crust bars, but are more in the road width bracket

I’m tall and have orangutang arms, currently have 48’s in the Noodle variety. Was thinking something moderately similar.

Idk if I trust my abilities enough to cold set both sides evenly.

Honestly the narrow sized Towel Rack bars feel pretty good with the flare on them. I think those are like 50cm at the hoods, which is wide but not atrocious.

FWIW I believe Nitto lists their bars by the width, center-to-center, at the end of the drops while most others are measured at the hoods.

i have some silly wide towel racks i don’t need. i can measure later if you’re interested

Nitto RM013 “dirt drops” maybe?

This is about as good a pic as you will get, RM013 up top, 177 Noodles below

Go find a side pic though, the ramps I think are steeper than noodles. I like the RM013, have ridden them for years.
