What’s the model? My guess is you probably need a generous setback post. Even on my Coop e-bike with a 72* seat tube I had to get a Ritchey setback topper to get far enough back
Did they spec it with 165s?
Turbo Tero X (I got it for way cheap, less than I sold my Evasion for). 77deg ST and a 34.9 dropper. I could go either way on the dropper post, it’s really nice to have but if it’s gotta go it’s gotta go, though 34.9 rigid posts are few and far between it seems.
170s
It might not be enough, but it’ll help. Chop the head off a cheap replacement post and top it with this:
Cane Creek and Problem Solvers both have 34.9 shims if you decide to dither that way. I’ve had good experience with the cheap Ritchey RL-1 posts and they have both 30.9 and 31.6 with 25mm setback if you decide to get a rigid post.
I think I have a 34.9 on my cargo bike and would love a dropper. I’ll trade you ![]()
77 ST and soft pedaling with a motor is going to put a ton of weight on your hands. Slam it way back if you can.
I was pretty astounded to see how steep the STA was on this bike.
I was wondering if that was the case.
Thanks for the input y’all
Did the update and it looks like it’s working! Though now it doesn’t seem to like staying connected to me Garmin radar. And there’s a 2 page warning I have to click through about connecting a non-wahoo radar and how they can’t guarantee it’s effectiveness. Interesting that they never mentioned that before they had their own radar to sell.
Why can’t I find a gt gtb frameset
They’re all in folks parents basements, where they left them after they got tired of pretending to be messengers. Check the estate sales in your local upper middle class boomer neighborhoods.
Like every other problem, the solution is to wait for boomers to die.
As confirmed by Robert Reich
they have the storage space, and the wealth, to not feel compelled to sell things. the next 10-20 years will be incredible for the high end deadender market
TC I have some stuff in my dad’s basement. I’d clean it out but he’s in GA and I’m in WA. No sweet track frames though.
is there a ‘bikes with similar geometry’ feature of bikeinsights pro or any of the other geometry comparison tools? where it suggests others based on the main frame you input
Bike Insights can filter by any of their geometry parameters, so I’ve had good luck putting in stack and reach +/- a few mm. On the “Search” page…
Any Canadian Tarckers feel like buying a part from a Canadian shop and shipping it to Sweden?
A purchase I made from Soma almost a month ago has been stuck in Bell Garden post office for weeks, duckduciking that name gives dozens of horror stories about packages there being swallowed whole and never heard from again.
I’d be happy to pay you ‘six pack of craft beer’ money for your time and effort. Or send some amazing artisanal ÅreChokladfabrik chocolate during the winter holidays.
PM me!
Is it only available in canadia?
snowman trying to bribe people with made up fake chocolate…
Yeah, it’s the S-Ride 520c derailleur. It’s discontinued. It’s only available in the USA and Canada now. With the current tarriff nonsense, shipping is shut down between most of Europe and the USA, so this is it.
I could talk to the shop to get them to ship it, but they might say no.
