Did you just ShartQ?

I need to get the kid bike back to Seattle. Go or no go with this on the rack? I’ll chuck an extra strap on the front wheel too.

Stuff a piece of pipe insulation between the tire and fender.

And clamp over the top like usual?

Yeah, those fenders should hold up to the pressure for the drive. I see people with metal fenders do it all the time.

I need some cool bike art to frame and fill up some white walls in my house. Anyone got any leads on artists etc. I should be looking at?

I found this artist through the graham. His work is very unique.

Thanks for the tip! I had some bits of noodle kicking about and it worked great

I’m really disappointed by the lack of bikes in the bike room at the kid’s dorm. The only bike enthusiast looking bike was a rim brake Specialized with narrow as drops with the shifters angled in and aero rims.

Anyone use TPU inner tubes? The ridenow ones come in alloy and plastic valves, wondering if the plastics are good enough

Haven’t used the ridenow ones, but my anecdotal evidence from other ali-x ones is that the metal valve ones are less likely to tear around the valve. ymmv obvs

I use them placebo styles, like tubeless, in my kit… but I did hear that you can melt the plastic one’s stems if you use one of those usb powered electric pumps.

SQ anybody in the US ordered anything from Europe lately? I am once again tempted to buy a big box of nerd shit from Germany. BikeDiscount will still ship B&M and Tubus to the US. Shipping is 50 Euros now but I am suspecting at some point during shipping that I am going to get a +X% tariff bill from the shipper?
